THE SWEET BEAN VISION

Hi! I’m Jenifer Johnson, the proud founder of Sweet Bean Events.

With a theatrical background, I’ve always had a flair for putting on a show—from the grand finale to the tiniest detail. Honestly, if you give me a roll of duct tape and some glitter, I can MacGyver just about anything into an unforgettable event!

I got my start in event planning back in 2009, wrangling everything from cast parties to opening nights for a regional theater company. After that, I dove into the nonprofit world, consulting on events and fundraisers. In 2021, the idea for Sweet Bean Events was born, and I thought, “Why not take all this event wizardry and share it with the world?”

Now, I get to live my dream every day and sprinkle a little happiness wherever I go!

I named Sweet Bean after my daughter, Isabella, who’s affectionately known as "Bella Bean." I live with my husband, three kids, our adorable lab puppy who thinks he’s a lap dog, and two feline divas who clearly believe they are royalty. When I’m not managing chaos at home, you can find me lost in a thriller novel (the more twists, the better), endlessly scrolling through Pinterest for event inspiration, or binge-watching Disney movies with my kids—because magic makes everything better.

In just a few short years, Sweet Bean Events has grown into a full-service planning company specializing in weddings, Bar & Bat Mitzvahs, non-profit and corporate events, and milestone celebrations. I couldn’t do it without my amazing team and our fantastic network of vendor partners—they're like my backstage crew, and I’m forever grateful for their support!

Life is all about experiences, and I’m here to make sure your event is as unforgettable as your favorite concert encore. Let us help you bring your dream event to life—complete with all the joy, laughter, and maybe even a few surprises!

Adam Johnson, Business Manager

As Sweet Bean Events biggest fan - a bit biased, being Jenifer's husband and the father to Sweet Bean's namesake (pictured above, she totally looks like a Sweet Bean, right???), Adam supports Sweet Bean Events behind the scenes managing business operations such as accounting, ops, HR, and helps out with marketing activities.
